Bronze Warmth: Adèle Vergé

The sculptor is back at the Villa Duflot for a new exhibition: "Bronze Warmth".

As usual, she plunges us in a world of sensuality and fleshly plenitude. Her work on the body, whether it aims at abstraction or renews figuration, is an ode to beauty. Not that of aesthetics or standards, but the beauty only loving eyes can detect.

Adèle Vergé exalts the human body, often in purification, always with the sensitivity of her talent. No matter the material, she meets the right balance the natural of an attitude and her will to reach a personal expression. No matter the format as well. Adèle Vergé can put all her art in the body of a coiled up woman the size of a fist as well as monumental, such as that sitting couple (see picture).

Adèle Vergé loves humanity and that love irradiates from each of her sculptures.
